Product Review Nitro Vee

The Traxxas Nitro Vee Deep Vee is a Ready-to-Run model boat kit like the Villain or Blast. However, this one is "Gas" powered. "Gas" being Nitro fuel, this will give you maximum power to weight ratio and long run times without charging batteries! The bonus to this boat is the On board Electric Starter and Return to Shore system. These 2 features are PRICELESS to a beginner and anyone else that wants a super easy Nitro boat!!!

I have to tell you, we did not expect much from this RTR kit. We all drive full on racing boats and none of us were looking forward to doing the review on this boat. HOWEVER, we were all pleasantly surprised! We were very impressed with the out of the box speed of this model boat! We drove it on the Colorado river near Laughlin, NV. and it was plenty fast to easily drive up and down the river. In fact the boat is so fast we flipped it a few times. :) Not a big deal - we pumped out the water from the engine & put in a new glow plug and the thing fired right back up.

We found the boat easy to work on and spare parts are readily available. I should also mention we noticed no significant wear on any of the boats parts.

As you may have noticed we sell a number of aftermarket UPGRADES for this boat. All of which will continue to improve the level of fun you will have with this boat.

In closing, we would recommend this boat to anyone who wants Nitro performance with minimum hassle. You are not sacrificing much.
