Well, the long awaited Villain EX's finally arrived (a month late) and we opened it immediately to check it out for ourselves. See pictures below

There were a few things we noticed immediately:
1) This was the exact same hull as used on the Villain 4. The gear box & drivelines also looked the same.

2) The motors were not water cooled??? But the ESC was water cooled...

3) The radio box was waaaayyyy better!

4) We really liked the one knob to open the boats hatch, with a half turn!

5) Props are larger but still plastic.

6) Graphics are MUCH better and up to date.

7) The radio controller is basic but MUCH better than the old stick style radio on the V4.

We then quickly threw it in the water along with our Nitro Vee and the new EX is about the same speed! We will do a more in depth write up as we get more time on the boat including any upgrades we think are necessary! Check back soon for more!
