Fuel Tanks - are in every Nitro boat and made just to handle Nitro fuel. Usually made from a tough seamless plastic, they are pressurized to pump the fuel to the engines carburetor. You need to decide on the size (ounces) and placement of the tank in your boat.

Size determines run time and how much weight is carried in the boat.

Placement, consider 2 things: 1) if using the "clunk" place the tank so the fuel and the clunk are pushed to the rear of the fuel tank under acceleration, 2) try to place the tank low in the hull and near the middle of the hull. This will keep the boats performance consistent as the fuel level (weight) goes down.

Standard Fuel Tank assembly                                           A Fuel Filter is always a good idea.

The most common brands of Fuel Tanks are Sullivan and Dubro. These two manufacturers make tanks in every shape and size imaginable! Tanks usually run between $3 and $8.00 and you must assemble them.

Hold the tank down with Velcro, double stick tape, a rubber band or silicone it directly to the hull. Be sure to use good quality fuel line too.
