01-22-08: NEW SHIPPING/SECURITY MEASURES
Due to recent fraud we can no longer ship orders to an address that is different from the verified billing address and/or the address confirmed via PayPal payment. Unfortunately we will NOT be able to ship any orders to a different address, other than the billing address without prior consent. If you need to send a gift or have a situation that requires a different shipping address, please call (805) 582-0005. **IF YOU HAVE ORDERED FROM US IN THE PAST AND WE USUALLY SHIP TO A SEPARATE ADDRESS, THE DOES NOT PERTAIN TO YOU** The bottom line is the credit card companies and PayPal only guarantee the security of the payment when the order is shipped to the billing address on file. This sucks, but it protects you and us.
How much does it cost to ship internationally?

All shipping charges are estimated. International shipping estimates given at the time of the order are for authorization only. The actual shipping charges will be calculated at the time the order is processed. If your shipment will cost more than the estimate we will contact you for authorization before processing the order. In most cases the "estimate" is higher than the actual charges. We ship international orders via the Post Office, except for Canada which is shipped via UPS Standard. International customers are responsible for all taxes, tariffs, duties or other charges associated with purchasing our products.

When will I get my order?

Most orders of in stock items are shipped within 1-2 business days from the date they are placed. We ship orders Monday through Friday.

If an item is unexpectedly out of stock and your order will not ship in this time frame we will contact you via e-mail to give you our best estimate on the situation.

**PROP SERVICE: Prop service generally runs 2-3 days, depending on the season. If it will be much longer than this we will e-mail you.

We are located in California. UPS Ground is 1 day shipping to most of southern California; 2 days to the rest of CA and most of NV, UT and AZ; 3 days to the rest of NV, WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, CO, NM, OK, AK, HI and part of TX; 4 days to the rest of TX, most of ND, SD, NE, KS, most of MN, IA, MO, AR, LA, WI, IL, MS, AL, GA, FL, TN, KY, IN, MI, OH, PA, MD, DE, NJ, CT, RI, NH, MA and parts of WV, VA, NC, SC; and 5 days to ME, VT, NY, and the remaining parts of the United States not served within 4 days.

Expedited shipping times (3 day, 2 day and overnight) do not include processing times. Your order will not ship the same day it is placed in most cases**

WOW!! Your shipping charges are high! Why??

Our shipping charges are the actual cost to ship an item or items to you plus a handling fee for the boxes and packing materials.

Sometimes when ordering many small items the shipping charges can go up even though it seems the items could all be shipped together. Our system is not perfect! If your shipping charges seem too high, let us know. Put a note in the Special Instructions section of the order form and we will check into it before we process your order. If the higher shipping charges are a result of a system issue we will decrease the cost to you.

Do you ship Internationally?

Yes! We love our international customers :) The only limitation at this time is the maximum box size allowable by the Post Office to your country. MOST LARGE BOATS CANNOT BE SHIPPED TO FOREIGN COUNTRIES AT THIS TIME. Check with us via e-mail on a specific boat or a specific country's size limits.

EFFECTIVE 6/25/07: All international orders must be paid for using an AVS supported credit card or via confirmed PayPal user. Otherwise, we can arrange secure transfer of funds to our bank via bank transfer. We also may require additional documentation to confirm your identity. If this is necessary to process your order we will contact you upon receipt of your order. Unfortunately, recent fraudulent orders have forced this change in policy.

Shipping to some countries carries more risk of fraud and in order to continue serving our international customers we must protect our business. If your country is not listed, we cannot ship there.

What happens if a part is out of stock?
We do the best we can to keep our website up to date. However, if a part or boat is out of stock we will notify you of the status of the item as soon as we get your order. To the best of our ability we will let you know when your item will ship to you and we will try to keep you updated periodically as time goes by.

If you would consider a possible substitute, just let us know and we will check into that for you.

What are your Holiday Shipping Guidelines?
Holiday Shipping: Orders must be placed by midnight 12/16/07 to arrive on 12/24/07 via Ground shipping. Orders placed by midnight 12/18/07 with 3 Day Air shipping will arrive 12/24/07. Orders placed by midnight 12/19/07 with 2nd Day Air shipping will arrive 12/24/07. Orders placed by midnight 12/20/07 with Next Day Air shipping will arrive 12/24/07. **Please note, all shipping guides listed above depend on the shipping service. We will not be held responsible for delays caused by the shipping company. Verifyable shipping company delays will result in a refund of your shipping charges only.** All orders placed for Christmas delivery under these guidelines are subject to inventory availability. Items fly out of here fast and furious in December and our website inventory is not always as accurate as we would like. If you place an order and the item is not in stock we will contact you as soon as we know this to discuss your options. **International orders placed in December cannot be guaranteed for delivery before Christmas. Unfortunately, shipping company policies and customs can delay a package beyond our control.
