Speed vs. Stability. The age old trade off. This is where the Hull and engine (or motor) size has a lot to do with this issue. The other factors are also overall boat weight, weight placement, wings, prop and driving conditions.
In our opinion this is the "meat" of the hobby. This is where you get to "play" with different set ups and combinations.
Speed is not everything (believe it or not). A super fast boat is only good for a perfectly glassy lake (or if your are a racer). That is hard to find. So build your boat to do other stuff like jump wakes and carve turns as well as haul butt!
Even full sized boats have the same problem and it's not pretty!
